Who Should Submit a Proposal?
You! Your colleagues! Your colleagues’ colleagues! Any professional with a level of social work understanding who would like an opportunity to share their knowledge with social workers from around the state of Michigan is a great candidate for this conference.

What Kind of Workshop Can I Give?
The possibilities are endless! Past workshops have featured lectures, case presentations, audio/visual components, group discussion, and large group or small group activities and demonstrations. Presenters can choose between providing a 1.5 hour presentation or a 3 hour presentation, schedule permitting. Please be sure to indicate the length of program you prefer to provide when completing the RFP.

Presenter Benefits
In addition to the enjoyment of sharing knowledge with colleagues, presenters are offered deeply discounted registration rates for the day they present and may also earn continuing education credits [CEs] for their workshop [subject to licensure rules]. NASW-Michigan issues confirmations to all presenters for their records following the conference.
